The 2019 IPBES report draws a very alarming conclusion: Human activities caused an unprecedented collapse of biodiversity. 10% of the insects species are threatened. Five factors are highlighted to contribute to this drop in biodiversity. The expansion of agriculture is one of them. Today, one-third of the world’s land area is used for agriculture and livestock. Urbanisation is another factor, where the urban areas doubled since 1992.

Today, grasslands are replaced by concrete and tar. The challenge is to design a solution by reaching out to a large audience.
How to accompany and simplify green actions without bringing out green-shaming? The goal is to think of a solution to preserve the biodiversity by focusing on the insects' habitats.
Whilst wild grassland areas decrease, abandoned public areas are increasing and could be used as growing playground. Guerilla gardening vibe, planting and growing can be a frictionless experience. It must be informative, easy and fun!
Popular and widely available on the market, most seed bombs are sustainable but for a single-use.
100% Made in the UK, a simple visual system distills the most important information. It includes a DIY and a seed guideline to plant national flowers to increase the floral biodiversity and create new insect habitats.
By creating a community on Instagram and Facebook (named: PolyNation), which curate related content on the British biodiversity, the DIY and design materials in open source.
The aim is to let people participate and create their own version or even improve it. Ultimately, we want to share it to a community who is eager to find ways to preserve the biodiversity.
